I have to say I have been with BHN since 2001 and I really can't complain my services have been wonderful. I have the TV Internet and phone. I understand I got the new customer deal when I first started blah blah blah. Good thing I was able to get my services in a new promotion every so often. Right now I am 145 and I got a letter saying it will be going up. I just hope spectrum will cut us all a deal. But if not it's life... Not like I am stuck with them there is no contract. Plus I have to do what is best for me in the end.

I'm writing this review in hopes that your headquarters will review these comments. I wanted to transfer my service from one home to another thinking that this should be a easy process since i'm already a customer and I wanted additional service as well, increasing my service with Bright House now Spectrum. I was so frustrated was by the customer services or sales both. drop the ball with my what should be a simple process. On the first of the year I put in my order to transfer my services they took my info and say they will have someone to call me back for the additional services I wanted, no call for days. I called back to confirm my request to have my services transferred they had no info concerning my first call, second call repeated my needs for the transfer again no call no services. Two weeks later called today 1/16/17 they Lock my acct therefore my request can not be completed. If there was another provider offering the Cable Service I would run over to their company services. Living in Florida and Bright House customer service is big fat 0. 4 calls 6 representative 1 supervisor and I'm still waiting for services.

I have had Brighthouse for 6 months now and for the last two months have had no internet and phone services and my cable is missing channels I should have every time, they schedule someone to come out they don't find the issue still no resolution and will not provide me with credit for services not working. To top it off I work from home this issue is not only affecting me it's causing problems with my career

Spectrum in Livonia MI used to be Bright House Was told it would be $39.99 1/10/17 just for Internet so I called back today 1/25/17 to have it installed and they jacked the rate to $44.95. All the more reason to cut the CABLE and go totally wireless. These companies don't get it. I was willing to pay them $480 a year for internet service and they got greedy and now they get NOTHING! AT&T is no better it is all a scam they sell you video packed with commercials and charge you $100 just for the video. Not any more, going streaming only. Spectrum will never get my business and AT&T is about to get dropped as soon as I get a hot spot.

I'm not one to ever complain. But this company is the worst. For years I had not been getting a consistent internet speed or signal. After countless complaints I just give up and call then back months later. This last time I actually when as far as paying 40% more for the service and get a faster internet. Still have problems. I did schedule a technician and she came. After assessment she say they will send a subcontractor to change the lines into the house. Contractor came, knocked, I was in the bathroom and by the time I came out he was gone. I schedule another appointment for Sunday with Subcontractor and nobody ever showed up. I call BHN again. Half of the customer service rep on the phone get nasty once I start asking them questions (I work in IT). They want to schedule another tech again for the same thing the last one came the previous week. Yesterday I spoke with a supervisor and he promised the line will be install today. He lie again. The tech came today just to check again. This is being going on for over 11 years and just get worst. I called to get credit for the service I'm not getting and the rep. also refused. This company really needs to be dismantled and re done in smaller companies.The are milking the consumers and simply do not care. There is always an excuse why they can't deliver or they make the consumers look like they are wrong. On the mean time I have taken four days off and still have not a reliable internet signal and paying full price for it.

Bright House Networks - Cable Tv Service Review

My eldely uncle has has brighthouse, previously time warner and now spectrum for over 15 years. The past 5 years the company has slid drastically.

He deals with the Livonia Michigan office and they are as incompetant as it comes. Six months ago a note was put on his door to the effect that his bill was overdue and the amount plus a $20 charge neede to be paid within 5 days or his service would be shutoff. Opon further inquiry it was determined his account was up to date and not late, it was their error. Everything wassupposed to be deleted to zero balance, yet the $20 fee kept showing up month after month.

It was finally removed, when he threatened to drop them and they said they would remove it his time, like they were doing him a favor?? The last straw came this week when i got my annual rate increase notice. The bill was going from $101 to $117. I called spectum and they told me they could give him a rate of $93 for the same service, to my surprise.

When I went to the livonia office to verify the price, they told me the person I talked with erred and the rate of $93 would be $140???

These people are either liars or incompetant or both? I am changing service in 2 weeks and recommend everyone to steer clear of this company,especially if you have to deal with the Livonia Michigan office.

Bright House Networks - Internet Service Review

1st issue - I terminated my cable service with bright house, but kept my internet, only because I have no other internet options. I now stream everything. Explained in detail to bright house that I would be keeping the internet. On disconnet day, they turned everything off, took 2 days & 2 different service people to get it back on. After customer service insisted it was a technical issue in my house. Had to call 2 or 3 times to get someone that understood the issue, he checked my line & could not see my modem. Ta da finally, someone that actially knows what they are doing. 2nd - major issue - I'm paying for 100 mbps; I've been testing my speed for weeks with several different services. I'm not, nor have i ever received 100 mbps since I disconnected my cable. And I have a better modem & router than what bright house gavd me when I had cable. This is fraud by bright house, but cannot get anything done!

I can't even get wifi in the next room of the router!! Just tried calling 3 times and transferred to a non-entity all three times, then disconnected. No music, no recording, just dead air! They really need to get their act together!! I'm seriously considering a change after 10 years of making payments to them!! After calling from my home phone, and their acknowledging my number, I get transferred to NOTHING! I called back another 2 times and then I didn't even get a recording. So the next time, I called from my cell, and was still dispatched to dead air!! WHAT is up with this company?? If they have any customer service blood-cells left after changing to Spectrum, I would at least expect a call back. And I thinks it's ridiculous that I need to use at least 100 words too fill this out, when I have really said what I needed to in the first paragraph!!

Brighthouse Networks has been succefully disrespecting me as a customer and acting very unethical. One day in July 2016 my Internet completely stopped working. We called and scheduled a technician come in. First, they never showed up on time and smtms even the same day. I am saying they because it took like 10 different technicians and about a month without Intenrnet to figure out that we had been disconnected because specifically our wire was creating a noise for other consumers. Regardless of disconnecting us, so that all other customers in our community could have Internet, they never informed us about the issue and just kept charging and sending technicians our way in a very disorganized manner. I could not believe my years when the company refused to fix the issue and just said that I should just stop using them. I called and asked for refund for August and July (yes they charged me for two months in a row, while being disconnected), they said that if I want my money back, I would need to close an account, but I shouldn't, because somebody named Heidi said she was going to give me a good rate when the issue is resolved and promised to try and fix it, but stop charging me until they fix it!!! Two months later I've come to find out they charged me for September and October again!!!!! When I called, the MANAGER told me that Heidi didn't put any notes there and regardless of me using their service or not, they have already billed me for the two months and there is not way to give me a refund since I haven't closed my account. After speaking with at least 10 managers and different representatives, and explaining my story all over again, I realized that this company is just simply robbing people. I could not believe my years, with the way they spoke to me and in what they had to say. Basically, they disconnected me, refused to fix the issue, promised not to charge, but kept charging the money, and when I asked for refund they told me I had no rights to get my money back... Still can't believe this is happening in 21st century in a country of hope.

Was told by spectrum that I would keep my premium package without paying more and was lied. My bill went up $60 a month. I called their customer support team and was just given the we are terribly sorry "for screwing you up". Sad to say that after 20 years with times Warner/ bright house, I am switching to another provider.

First... Bhn gives us modems not routers so why would they reboot the router?

Is this a game on your cable TV? If so reboot the cable box unless you have a smart TV and you are trying to stream the game then you would need to reboot the modem!

I hope this gets to someone that's high enough to care. I'm 74 years old and have little to enjoy,due to age and poor condition of health so T.V. means a lot to my wife and I.Getting aggravated and mad is the opposite and no good. The service my wife and I have been getting for the last two months has been so tireing and aggravating it would take more than a hundred words to describe. We're trying to guess if its just stupidity ,mean,or people that know there's no consequences for their action as there has to be at least 20 different people that ,first apologize,then do nothing to remedy the problem. For example we had at least seven (7) "repairman" visit us and make excuses why they leave not accomplishing anything and give explanations that a little kid couldn't accept. We just wish the next one MAY be a little more smarter or trained. No chance.We just about give up and wish for a competitor to come to our area. I guess if any one wishes the whole story email me a high office holder of this company's address and I'll write them the whole tale,otherwise I'll have to believe there is nothing but idiots running this show or the low paid know nothings that are forced to employment for one reason or another. They told me my bill would only be 54.26 a month for 1 year. The next day they called to confirm and offered 2 months FREE cable to try out.

I said free ok! Will my bill change she said no just cancel Within the 2 months. 5 days after getting the service I had $113 takin out of my account and called to get a refund it took 3 weeks to get it back when they said 72hours!!! Then the next bill came and they charged me again and will not take it off, they said I HAVE to pay it!

And my internet I signed up for is $109 now because they added that cable to my account. And they won't do anything to try to resolve this with me!! Pretty much oh well u have to pay it!!!!

I will never recommend this company to anyone EVER!!!!! Bad customer service all they do is lie and say they are gonna do something and NEVER DO!!!

Ripped off!!!! New customer and straight lied to me!!!! Not happy at all!!! U shouldn't be able to do that to innocent people , and customer service was awful and laughed when I was so upset!! Don't ever go with brighthouse/ spectrum!!!

OMG. What a nightmare. Lies. Empty promises. No call no shows 3 days. Nothing but dumb meets dumber. Incompetant company from start to finish. Terrible communucstion. No dept knows what the other is doing. Empty apoligies. Supervisors who resolve nothing. Pure torture trying to get any service with this company. Drivers lied that no one was home. We waited on porch 8 total hours today. All day yesterday too. Shame on them. If you know you dont have the staff to do business then dont promise service to them. We surely have better things to do than wait for a company that doesnt value its customers !!!!!!

Brighthouse has always had great customer service UNTIL RECENTLY when they have been bought out by spectrum! I hate it!
